After buying a new house my husband and I tried hanging some cheap blinds from a home repair store in our bedroom, after realizing it was not worth the hassle of hanging, making sure they were straight, the right size etc. (also very heavy and hard to raise). We called major blinds after hearing an ad on the radio. We had a really great experience with them… it was so easy and much more affordable than I expected!! The sales person came to our house when it was convenient for us, he was not pushy, he was very honest and helpful on what he thought was best for our house. We chose Hunter Douglas black out shades, it gets very warm from the direct sunlight in our windows during summer.
They were ordered and installed the next week, again whenever it was convenient for us. The installer was prompt, friendly and did a great job… he was in and out in no time and we are really happy with the choice we made.
Major Blinds was an excellent experience from start to finish, they were so professional, convenient and very well priced. I would recommend them to anyone, my sister also used Major Blinds and loves the top down, bottom up blinds she had installed throughout her new home (she lives over an hour and half away from seattle, I think they install anywhere in Western Wa.)

I contacted Major Blinds for a measurement and suggestions for a blackout shade for a large, oversized window in my master bedroom and options for window treatments for the several floor to ceiling widows in the living room. The representative that came to my house was prompt, brought many different types of options and very helpful suggestions for what I might use given the spaces I have. The treatments priced out at very competitive and affordable rates and were delivered early to my house. On the scheduled installation day the installer was actually EARLY. He was very proficient and professional in the installation and I received a follow up call from my salesman. I love the black out – it was exactly what I wanted. Very dark and easy to operate despite the oversized space. I would recommend Major Blinds to any family or friends looking for window treatments and am excited about the next project for the house. We added window coverings to seven rooms. Robert their very professional salesman called us within an hour to set an estimate appointment. He put us into an affordable family of Blinds, shades and wooden shades. He spent a good amount of time measuring and re-measuring. We wanted to get installed in about 4 weeks. No problem. They called to set an installation date and gave a 3.25 hour estimate of install time. Roger from their Premier Installation service dept came to our house. He was the best. He installed coverings for 20 windows in record time and perfect condition. We have not had one single problem with our new window coverings. We had originally called another drapery company but didn’t even get a call back. I’ve heard their goofy commercials on the radio and now I can add my name as a very satisfied customer.
Everything went well from first step in our home to finished product installation.
